Fujin in the Mortal Kombat X roster is something that’s been universally since MKX’s initial launch. With the release of the first Kombat Pack DLC not containing the Earthrealm protector, many, including myself, believed that if a KP2 was released he’d most definitely make the cut and be included. However, that just wasn’t the case. With the KP2 now being released and the XL edition of MKX being sold in stores, all signs are pointing to DLC for MKX being a thing of the past. If that’s the case, the community will have to wait another 3-4 years for a chance to finally play as Fujin in another MK installment. Since last April, Boon has teased the possibilities of Fujin being DLC on and off. Between teasing Fujin’s “windy,” characteristics to even openly debunking his chances to be “unlocked,” Fujin is a character that’s been talked about by Boon since this game hit store shelves. Yet again this morning, Boon was back at talking about Fujin. Like we’ve seen before, he seems to have shot down the idea of Fujin making it into MKX. The complete list of Mortal Kombat X achievements for the Xbox One have been leaked and spread like wild-fire all throughout the internet. With that said, these achievements come with screen-shots from inside of MKX, giving us some new insight and details on what we have yet to see revealed inside of this game! Now, not only did we get a look at Goro and his epic and brutal fatality, but a couple of characters have been revealed/confirmed as possibly playable from these images. For starters, you have Erron Black performing some type of execution type fatality against his opponent, followed by a close-up of his actual face. If he wasn’t gonna be a playable character, how could he be pulling off a fatality? Next, we got 2 new screen-shots of Shinnok wearing different attires in each. In the first image, he appears to be flying over an arena while in the next, it’s simply just a character close-up. It’s been a while since we’ve seen Shinnok playable in a Mortal Kombat game, so let’s cross our fingers and hope he’s more than just a teased cameo. Next we have a picture of Jax performing his vintage floor slam move (sonic boom)! Though we’ve seen him rocking some crazy possessed looking clothes, this is an image of Jax wearing his normal outfit and looking like himself. With that said, it’s pretty much confirmed that he’s in the game based on seeing the image of him actually performing an attack. Lastly, there’s an image of some type of Tarkatan warrior that’s been passed around as Baraka. Now I don’t wanna go out on a limb and 100% say this is in fact him, I wouldn’t be surprised considering how many of the other confirmed characters have changed, maybe Baraka’s appearance has too.
