Peter Manning is widely acknowledged as being one of the leading figures in the Classical Music world. Since an early age, Peter has toured and broadcast from the world’s major concert halls as a violinist, concertmaster and conductor. Throughout a diverse and expansive career, Peter has directed and conducted some of the greatest orchestras and musical ensembles.
Among his career highlights, Peter has lead the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Britten String Quartet. He was also appointed as Concertmaster of the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London. More recently Peter was invited to be the guest conductor of the Dallas Opera in the United States, Music Director of the Mozart Kinderorchester in Salzburg as well as Artistic Director of the Three Palaces Festival in Malta.
The vision of Artistic Director and Conductor Peter Manning has seen him being involved right across the musical performance spectrum, planning programming and performance from the Edinburgh Festival fringe and Commonwealth Games arts to multi-arts media installations.
